Buying anything during a divorce is stressful enough. Every Divvio purchase is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you change your mind before downloading your completed Form E PDF, it's automatic — no questions asked. If you've already downloaded it, just get in touch; we review those requests individually.
If you request a refund within 14 days of payment, and before you've downloaded your completed Form E PDF, we refund you in full — automatically, for any reason or no reason.
When a refund is issued, your paid access ends and returns to the free tier. Your answers and account are not deleted — you can still log in, and re-purchase later if things change.
The automatic guarantee may be used once per customer.
Once you've downloaded your completed Form E, you've received the thing you paid for, so a refund isn't automatic — but email us anyway and tell us what happened. We look at these individually and refund genuine cases: being charged twice, a technical problem with the PDF, or a purchase that turned out not to fit your situation are the kind of things we'll put right. We just don't treat download-then-refund as a way to get Divvio for free.
Assisted Review includes human review work, so it works slightly differently. It is refundable in full at any point before your review has been delivered. Once the review (and discussion call, where applicable) has been delivered, the review element is non-refundable, but the Self-Serve element included in your purchase remains covered by the terms above.
The settlement snapshot is a digital report delivered immediately after payment, with your express consent to immediate supply (which is why the statutory 14-day cancellation period does not apply to it). It sits outside the guarantee above. If your snapshot doesn't arrive or is defective, contact us and we will re-send it or refund it.
Email support@divvio.co.uk from the email address on your account with the subject line "Refund request". Tell us whether you've downloaded your PDF yet — that determines which of the two sections above applies.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 working days of approval.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights — including those under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where consumer law entitles you to a remedy beyond this policy, consumer law wins.
